SEC analyst Paul Finebaum thinks there’s one team not many people are talking about that could surge into national championship contention — Florida.
The Gators handled Missouri in a 40-14 victory on Saturday and if they win out, they would win the SEC East and get a berth in the conference championship game.
“They would have to become a different team than they’ve been so far,” Finebaum said on a segment on ESPNU’s College Football Sunday. “But Florida, if it runs the table, will have a shot at Alabama.”
