It’s been a weird morning for Florida head coach Jim McElwain. First, and most importantly, he’s getting his team ready for their biggest test of the season: a matchup with no. 3 Georgia.
But perhaps more notably, rumors have abounded about McElwain’s job status, as it was reported that McElwain’s agent, Jimmy Sexton, and the Florida athletic department were in talks about a potential buyout.
However, Yahoo! report Pat Forde has offered a response to those rumors, disputing reports about a buyout:
Y source familiar with the situation says there have been no conversations between UF and Sexton regarding McElwain's future at school. https://t.co/PUTDoNn8BF

Obviously, this has been an up-and-down morning for the Gators’ head man, and it will be interesting to continue to follow this through the coming days.
