Where Former Georgia Football Players Rank in Offensive NFL Stat Rankings

Going into the 2025 NFL season, the Georgia Bulldogs had the second-most players on active rosters with 57, behind the Alabama Crimson Tide with 62. With the NFL entering Week 10 of the season now, players across all positions have emerged as leaders across multiple statistical categories, with a few former Dawgs appearing near the top in plenty of categories.

The two most impressive former Georgia players this season have been running back James Cook and wide receiver George Pickens. Cook, of the Buffalo Bills, and Pickens, now with the Dallas Cowboys, have been Fantasy Football studs this year.

Cook ranks No. 2 in the NFL in rushing yards with 867, trailing only Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. Meanwhile, Pickens, who benefited from CeeDee Lamb’s injury absence, is third in the NFL in receiving yards with 764. He shot up the leaderboard thanks to Puka Nacua’s injury, but the Cowboys have a bye this weekend, so he’s sure to drop down a bit.

After a stellar rookie year, Raiders tight end Brock Bowers has dealt with some injuries so far this season, which have slowed him down. Because of that, he only has 32 receptions for 383 yards and three touchdowns.

Here’s where some former Dawgs rank in the NFL by major offensive stat category:

Passing Touchdowns:

  • Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford, a former No. 1 pick out of UGA, ranks No. 1 in the NFL with 21 touchdown passes. His 2,147 passing yards rank sixth.
  • Just for fun, we’ll throw in Jets QB Justin Fields, who transferred from UGA –> Ohio State. He ranks No. 32 with 5 passing touchdowns and No. 29 with 1,089 yards.

Rushing Yards:

  • Bills RB James Cook ranks No. 2 in the NFL with 867 rushing yards. He also has 7 touchdowns on the ground.
  • Bears’ D’Andre Swift is No. 20 in the NFL with 464 rushing yards, and he’s also added 5 total touchdowns. Injuries have limited him to 7 games.
  • Texas’ Nick Chubb is No. 29 with 355 rushing yards.
  • Fields is No. 36 with 288 rushing yards.
