2027 four-star wide receiver Lawrence Britt announced his top ten schools on Thursday, going through On3’s Hayes Fawcett to reveal the trimmed-down list.
Georgia is in the running for the 6-foot-2 receiver out of Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee. The Dawgs offered Britt on June 20 ahead of his junior season. He ranks as the nation’s No. 52 overall player and No. 4 athlete, per 247Sports, which lists him as both a receiver and an ATH.
Georgia’s got the No. 10-ranked recruiting class for the 2027 cycle, according to 247 Sports, with just four commits. That’s sure to change, and Kirby Smart will likely get the Dawgs into the top five as time goes on. Right now, UGA’s 2026 class ranks No. 2.
Britt’s top ten, according to Fawcett’s post, includes the following — in no specific order:
- Tennessee
- Missouri
- Vanderbilt
- Georgia
- Miami
- Florida
- Florida State
- Ole Miss
- Oregon
- Alabama
Seven of the ten schools come from the SEC, with Florida State and Miami as close regional neighbors. Oregon must be doing something right to find itself in the mix.
Georgia’s current 2027 recruiting class includes four players, with two being four-stars and two being three-stars. Oddly enough, two hail from Georgia and the other two hail from California.
