Georgia Named Top 3 School By Elite 4-Star WR

Four-star wide receiver Sean Green revealed his Top 3 schools in an exclusive interview with Chad Simmons of Rivals.

Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Florida State were the three schools Green told Simmons were currently at the top of his recruitment. He’s visited all three schools this season, including a trip to Athens for Georgia’s huge Top 10 win over Ole Miss.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound wide receiver plays at Camden County High School in Kingsland, GA. The Bulldogs are projected to be the heavy favorite for Green, according to the Rivals RPM.

Green is the No. 265 overall prospect and No. 33 wide receiver in the class of 2027. He ranks as the No. 2 wide receiver and No. 31 player in the state of Georgia, according to the Rivals Industry ranking.

Green shared some insight about why Georgia is currently standing out in his recruitment. He even revealed that he will return to Athens this weekend for Georgia’s matchup against Texas.

“I’ve been there about five times,” Green told Simmons. “The game against Ole Miss was electric. Georgia has great hospitality, and I like the stability of their program. I will be back for the Texas game.”

Green finished his junior season with 47 catches for 570 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.

Georgia currently has four commitments in the class of 2027, ranking No. 7 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC. The Bulldogs’ 2027 class is headlined by four-star cornerback Donte Wright and four-star offensive tackle Kelsey Adams.
