CBS Sports analyst: “I don’t know why Mark Richt’s name is being considered for any job”
UGA’s season was on the line Saturday against No. 11 Florida, but the Bulldogs fell flat in an ugly 27-3 loss.
Following the poor display, CBS’ Brian Jones criticized UGA and coach Mark Richt for the 24-point beatdown.
“This is horrible,” Jones said on-air following the game. “This is terrible. I don’t know why Mark Richt’s name is being considered for any job. At least at his alma mater at the University of Miami. This was a terrible showing today. Yes, you should give a lot of credit to Florida. But Georgia should be worried. This was putrid. This was disappointing. They are a terrible football team.”

Jones’ comments seemingly reflect the opinion of the UGA faithful who watched their team fail to score a touchdown for the second-straight game.
