The future of UGA coach Mark Richt has been a hot topic recently, and former Bulldogs All-American star Champ Bailey shared his thoughts on the subject Friday morning on Atlanta’s 680 The Fan.
“I think it’s about time to end this era,” Bailey told the Rude Awakening’s Nick Cellini and Chris Dimino. “I mean there’s obviously some things over there that we can’t fix at this point, and it’s probably time to move on. I mean 15 years at one place is a long time. So, you know, we appreciate what he’s done, but it’s probably time to move on.”
Bailey, who played at UGA from 1996-98, also discussed his opinion of UGA defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt and whether or not he believes Pruitt would be a good fit as head coach for the Bulldogs.
