UPDATE: Shortly after the GridironNow.com report, UGA coach Mark Richt tweeted out that “Jeremy Pruitt is our defensive coordinator and is in the office working diligently getting ready for Kentucky.”
Could Jeremy Pruitt’s time at UGA could be coming to an end?
GridironNow.com is reporting “that there is internal dissension on Georgia’s staff centering on second-year defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, to the point that rumors are flying that he could be fired as soon as today.” The headline of the story is “Could Pruitt be fired at Georgia today?”
Multiple sports personalities took to Twitter on Thursday to voice their opinions about the rumors:
It could be an interesting day in Athens today.

Am told lots of friction inside #UGA stemming from old guard staff vs new guard regarding many of the changes in how Dawgs program is run.

If Richt fires Pruitt for insubordination and doesn't fire Schottenheimer for incompetence, Richt should also be let go.

GridironNow.com was also the first to report the Will Grier suspension and that UGA’s Faton Bauta would start against Florida.
