Ticket prices dropping ahead of Saturday’s UGA-Georgia Tech rivalry game
Some Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate will take precedence at Bobby Dodd Stadium this Saturday as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets host the Georgia Bulldogs. While anticipation builds for the 110th installment of the annual rivalry game, ticket prices have continued to drop on the secondary market over the last several weeks, according to TiqIQ.
The average price for Georgia Tech vs Georgia tickets is now $144.74, marking a 14.8 percent tumble from last Tuesday’s average of $169.80 and a 32.1 percent drop from the game’s peak average of $213.18 on September 9. The cheapest ticket is currently listed for $100.
Despite the falling average ticket price, however, Saturday’s game is still Georgia Tech’s second most expensive home game this season. The team’s top-priced game came against Florida State on October 24, where tickets owned a secondary market average of $193.69 and the get-in price was also $100. The Yellow Jackets pulled out a 22-16 win over the Seminoles at home, snapping a five-game losing streak and winning at Bobby Dodd for the first time since Week 2.
