UGA (7-3, 5-3 SEC) can still lay claim to a rather successful season, but any championship hopes, whether in the conference or nationally, will have to be put on hold for at least another year.
That doesn’t mean Georgia fans should be too disappointed, though and there’s one more chance to root on the Bulldogs at home this season. That will come this weekend when Georgia hosts Georgia Southern.
Fans hoping to attend the game will get a discount compared to the other home games Georgia has played at Sanford Stadium this season on the secondary market. Currently the average price for Georgia vs Georgia Southern tickets is $123.30 with a get-in price of $56, according to TiqIQ. That’s 33.5 percent below the season average on the secondary market from the 2015 season.
After the game, Georgia will head to Georgia Tech to finish the regular season against the Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The current average price for that game is $161.64 with a get-in price of $83. That would be 32.1 percent below the secondary market average for last week’s game in Athens.
