It appears UGA is interested in reuniting with safety Johnathan Abram, who left the program in January.
The Bulldogs offered Abram a scholarship Thursday. He is currently playing for Jones Junior College (Miss.).
Abram did not travel with the team to the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl for reasons then-interim coach Bryan McClendon described as “personal issues.” He recorded 25 tackles as a freshman last season.
Perhaps a reunion between both sides is imminent.
