UGA players get revenge for last year’s destruction of hedges
UGA avenged last year’s home loss to Georgia Tech with a 13-7 victory on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The loss wasn’t the only thing the team wanted to make right, however.
After last season’s overtime win at UGA, the Georgia Tech players took pieces of the fabled Sanford Stadium hedges as trophies. Georgia players clearly remembered the injustice.

That wasn’t the only way the UGA players exacted their revenge, though. As an assertion of their dominance in the rivalry, the Bulldogs decided to mark their territory.

With the win, UGA improved to 13-2 against Georgia Tech under coach Mark Richt.
