Watch video of UGA fan’s rant on YouTube after Alabama loss
It is understandable for UGA fans to feel frustrated following the team’s 38-10 loss to Alabama on Saturday in Sanford Stadium, but one fan took to YouTube to rant about the game and Bulldogs coach Mark Richt.
In the video, the fan starts off by saying “Mark Richt is a nice guy, he’s a good person. But, as the saying goes: Nice guys finish last.”
After talking about Richt’s inability to win in big games, the fan goes on to explain why UGA should send $500 to every fan that attended Saturday’s game.
The popular narrative entering the much-anticipated SEC showdown was that Richt’s teams failed to show up when the stage was biggest, and many fans are tired of the letdowns in big games. While UGA has had plenty of success in Richt’s 15 seasons at the helm, the non-competitive losses have some fans more than a little upset, especially this one.
