Lewis was picked in the 11th round of the 2017 MLB Draft and according to CatsIllustrated, he is in Tampa negotiating his contract with plans to sign.
Lewis went 6-4 with a 3.56 ERA in his sophomore season, his lone campaign as a starter at Kentucky.
The Suwanee, Ga., native was 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA in 21 games out of the bullpen as a redshirt freshman in 2016. He earned freshman All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball for his performance.
