LEXINGTON, Ky. — Xavier Peters’ commitment to Kentucky might be short-lived. Peters announced his commitment Tuesday on Twitter, and by Wednesday afternoon that commitment tweet had been deleted.
The 4-star linebacker from West Chester, Ohio, then shared this.
I still have to sit down and think about some things 🤔💯 #life

It appears Peters remains committed, but there are obviously questions now.
Peters was one of Kentucky’s top targets this cycle. He’s the second-highest ranked commitment in Kentucky’s 2018 class behind 4-star offensive guard Marquan McCall.
Peters is a top-300 player nationally and is ranked the No. 17 outside linebacker in the class, according to 247Sports. He gives Kentucky its seventh commitment from Ohio. Peters, 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, is the eighth-ranked prospect from the Buckeye State.
Kentucky’s 2017 class is ranked No. 15 in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
