According to Diallo, the other finalists in his recruitment are Connecticut, Duke, Indiana Kansas and Syracuse.
247sports.com has Diallo as the No. 10 player in the senior class and the top shooting guard. He’sa Kentucky lean, according to their “Crystal Ball” predictions, which has a 73-percent chance of Diallo landing in Lexington. UConn (20 percent) and Syracuse (7 percent) are the next most likely choices, according to 247.
Diallo is a 6 foot 5, 195-pound shooting guard out of Putnam Science Academy in Queens Village, N.Y.
Coach John Calipari does not have any commits lined up for this season, but is in the mix for a few of the nation’s top prospects, although not as many as Kentucky fans are used to. Among the other blue-chippers considering Kentucky are No. 3 recruit Mohamed Bamba and No. 9 recruit Kevin Knox.
Diallo could truly get the ball rolling for the Wildcats.
