LEXINGTON, Ky. — Thursday night, Jedrick Wills was having dinner with the Kentucky coaching staff. Now SEC Country has confirmed that Wills, a 4-star Alabama offensive lineman commit, will take an official visit with Kentucky over the weekend.
Kentucky recruiters pursued Wills, a Lexington native, even after he committed to the Crimson Tide in November. Coach Mark Stoops visited him at Lexington’s Lafayette High School on Thursday.
Wills is the top-ranked player from Kentucky and No. 7 among offensive tackles in the nation, according to 247Sports.

National Signing Day is Wednesday and Wills will listen to Kentucky’s last-second pitch. He would become the Cats’ No. 1 prospect if he decides to flip and join their 2017 class.
It’s expected to be a big recruiting weekend for the Wildcats as the basketball team takes on No. 4 Kansas at 6 p.m. ET Saturday at Rupp Arena.
