Matt Jones is ready to make a big prediction for Kentucky-Florida this season.
Speaking on The Paul Finebaum Show, the analyst for KentuckySportsRadio.com says the Wildcats’ drought against the Gators is about to end. Check out what he had to say to Paul Finebaum on Thursday.
“Kentucky, two of the last three years, should have beaten Florida,” Jones said on the show.
“The talent gap is there, but I don’t think it’s as large as it normally is, and you cannot beat a Kentucky football program 31 years in a row. You just can’t. You can do 30, but we draw the line at 31.”
This is an interesting take, and it’s not wild to imagine Kentucky beating Florida this season. The Wildcats have been competitive against the Gators in the recent past, and under the right circumstances, Kentucky can compete with Florida and perhaps earn a much-needed victory in the series.
