Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.
That motto was epitomized by former Kentucky forward Anthony Davis during the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night. Davis is wearing the jersey of New Orleans Pelicans’ teammate, and fellow former Wildcat, DeMarcus Cousins for the game.
Cousins, of course, is out for the season after tearing his Achilles tendon a few weeks ago. He would have started in the All-Star Game.

Cousins was in the midst of one of the best seasons of his career. He averaged over 25 points and 13 rebounds per game before going down and he was leading the Pelicans to his first-ever postseason appearance.
Without their center, the Pelicans are still in position to take a playoff spot. Davis has led the team to three straight wins and the Pelicans are currently a half-game up on the Clippers for the No. 8 seed in the West.
Interestingly enough, there are now four players wearing the No. 0 on Team LeBron: Davis, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love and Andre Drummond.
