Mark Stoops might be adding some family to the fold next season.
Isaac Stoops, the son of former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops and the nephew of Kentucky’s coach, has received an offer to join the Wildcats as a preferred walk-on, according to 247Sports.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback, who’s been playing at Norman North High in Oklahoma, is rated as a two-star cornerback.
Kentucky isn’t the only SEC school to offer Stoops as he also has a preferred walk-on offer from Arkansas as well as Oklahoma, Nevada and Northwestern, which is Kentucky’s opponent in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 29.
His twin brother, Drake, plays on the same team at Norman North and is a 3-star WR prospect. He’s gotten scholarship offers from five Division I schools: Iowa, Memphis, Ohio, Air Force and Western Kentucky. He’s reported to be leaning to the Hawkeyes.
