Basketball fans of all walks were excited to see the rematch between former Kentucky PG De’Aaron Fox and former UCLA PG Lonzo Ball during the NBA Summer League on Monday night. But it’s not going to happen.
According to USA Today’s Sam Amick, Ball has decided to rest what is being termed a “sore groin” instead of going up against the new Kings guard who put a NCAA Tournament freshman record 39 points on Ball during the Sweet 16.

Though Fox did not mention the new Lakers guard by name, nor did he use any actual words, he summed up his feelings on the decision with a since-deleted Tweet:
