Drake is so obnoxious.
The popular rapper, who is known for his eccentric support of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball program, took his “fandom” (if you can even call it that) to a weird new level recently when he was spotted wearing the jersey of Zion Williamson … a 16-year-old University of Kentucky basketball recruit from South Carolina’s Spartan Day School.

There are certain lines you probably shouldn’t cross, especially once you turn 30, as Drake did last October. We’d prefer it in the future for Drake to draw those lines in Canada, and then stay there.
It’s not the first time Drake has pushed his fake love for Kentucky a bit too far. In 2015, Kentucky actually asked him to “cease and decist” after self-reporting a recruiting violation that he caused. And then he did it again anyway.
It doesn’t seem like this will be a violation, though it could be stretched into a minor “recruiting advantage” penalty despite having a commitment from Williamson already. But beyond that, it’s really just kind of weird. We all know Drake started from the bottom, but this type of bad behavior might send him back there. Forever.
All we know is that when Drake’s hotline blings, that can only mean one thing: it probably isn’t Kentucky calling, but rather the NCAA compliance department.
