Despite only being in the NBA for one year, former Kentucky Wildcat Karl-Anthony Towns has already emerged as one of the faces of the NBA.
After posting averages of 18.7 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in his rookie year, Towns earned a spot on the cover of NBA 2k17.
Towns joins fellow NBA stars Paul George, Draymond Green, Andre Drummond, Jimmy Butler, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the cover of the game.
Towns won Rookie of the Year, becoming the first Wildcat in the John Calipari era to win the award. In his one year at Kentucky, Towns averaged 10.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Towns was the No. 1 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, as he was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The game’s release date is set for September 20, 2016.
