Some of Kentucky men’s basketball’s biggest recent stars will return to Rupp Arena this fall.
Kentucky will host an NBA exhibition game between the Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings at 7 p.m. ET on Oct. 15, the day after Big Blue Madness.
Former Wildcat and No. 1 overall pick John Wall will take the floor for the Wizards. DeMarcus Cousins, Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere will return to Rupp Arena as members of the Kings.
Wall was an NCAA Consensus First Team All-American at Kentucky in 2009-10, and he is coming off his third straight All-Star season. Cousins has been All-NBA second team two years running and was part of the gold medal U.S. olympic team this summer.
Cauley-Stein was the No. 6 overall pick in last year’s NBA draft. The Kings selected Labissiere with the No. 28 overall pick in the same draft.
