Kentucky will try to beat Tennessee on Saturday for just the second time since 1984, and 4-star Cats quarterback commit Jarren Williams will be on hand for it.
Williams tweeted Monday night that he would be in Lexington this weekend. He confirmed to SEC Country that it’s an unofficial visit. The Cats and Vols kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Kroger Field.

Williams was Kentucky’s first commit in the 2018 class, and it’s been a winding road since then. He de-committed from Kentucky in April, only to recommit in May. When SEC Country met with Williams earlier this fall he said he was firm with Kentucky but still listening to other schools.
The 6-foot-2 and 206-pound quarterback took an unofficial visit to Alabama on Sept. 30. He holds scholarship offers from almost every SEC school, including Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
The Lawrenceville, Ga., native is the No. 8 dual-threat quarterback in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He’s Kentucky’s second-highest ranked commit in the class.
