What better way to get ready for the presidential debate than to watch some of the nation’s top NBA prospects show their stuff.
That’s what University of Kentucky coach John Calipari is hoping for as he’s hosting NBA scouts and the world for a televised pro day for his players.
The practice will be covered by ESPNU at 7 p.m. Sunday night.
The workout will be getting the full ESPN treatment, according to a report from Jason Marcum for A Sea of Blue, as Doris Burke, Seth Greenberg, Fran Fraschilla and Andy Katz will all be on hand.
About 90 NBA scouts are expected to attend, according to Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv.
The pro day for scouts will continue with a session on Monday.
They will have plenty of prospects to look at, as DraftExpress.com has three UK players slated to go in the first round: Bam Adebayo is pegged at No. 10, De’Aaron Fox at 12 and Malik Monk at No. 18.
The Wildcats are not alone, as Duke will host pro days on Oct. 19 and 25.
