Big Blue Nation is a way of life, and apparently, memorialized in death as well.
One of the members of the Big Blue diehards, Geraldean Ramey, passed away on Friday at 90 years old.
As part of her last wish, her grandson and guardian Andrew Criswell buried Ramey in a coffin decked out what could only be described as her greatest passion: Kentucky basketball.
Criswell posted the photo of Ramey’s coffin to Facebook with the following message:
“When your grandmother tells you to do something, you do it,” Criswell wrote.
“Almost 15 years ago, Granny told me that I better send her off in a University of Kentucky casket. Well, I listened… this arrived today at the funeral home. Again, when your Granny threatens to haunt you if you don’t listen, you listen.”
