Five of the six Kentucky players who declared for the 2018 NBA Draft have been invited to the draft combine: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kevin Knox, Hamidou Diallo, PJ Washington and Jarred Vanderbilt.
Sophomore forward Wenyen Gabriel is the lone Wildcats player who declared for the draft but was not invited to the combine. The list was released Friday evening by Yahoo Sports.
Gilgeous-Alexander, Knox and Diallo have signed with agents. Washington, Vanderbilt and Gabriel declared for the draft without hiring an agent, leaving open the possibility to return to school.
Gabriel is the only one of the six who doesn’t rank among the top-100 draft prospects, per ESPN. The other rankings are as follows: Gilgeous-Alexander (No. 12), Knox (No. 14), Diallo (No. 34), Washington (No. 51) and Vanderbilt (No. 65).
The 2018 NBA Draft Combine will be held May 16-20 in Chicago. The draft is June 21.
