LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky’s Jon Toth has been named the SEC’s offensive lineman of the week after nine knockdown blocks against Vanderbilt on Saturday.
The senior played every snap at center and helped the Wildcats rush for 258 yards against the Commodores. It’s his second offensive lineman of the week award, having won the honor in 2014 against Tennessee-Martin.
Toth has started in 41 of his career 42 games at Kentucky. He is on the watch list for the Rimington Trophy, awarded to the nation’s most outstanding center, and the Outland Trophy, given to the country’s best interior lineman.
