LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky will be hosting close to 300 recruits on Saturday against Georgia as the Wildcats will try to keep pace in the SEC East.
2017 commits Walker Wood, Alex King and JaVonte Richardson are expected to attend along with 2018 quarterback commit Jarren Williams. Bryan Hudson, a class of 2019 offensive line prospect from Scott County, is also expected.
The most notable prospect will again be Lafayette High School’s Jedrick Wills. It’s not the first Kentucky game the Lexington native and Rivals 5-star prospect has been to this season. 247Sports lists the offensive lineman as a 4-star prospect and has Alabama, Kentucky and Michigan as his top three schools.
Kentucky freshman Landon Young was a 5-star offensive lineman from Lafayette High School that became the biggest get for coach Mark Stoops’ 2016 class. Wills could follow a similar path.
Kentucky’s 2017 class is ranked No. 39 by 247Sports and No. 40 by Rivals.
The Wildcats face the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.
