Sihiem King is getting a ton of work for a spring game. He’s carried 19 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns. Expect both King and redshirt freshman A.J. Rose to get their share of carries behind Benny Snell. The sophomore Snell had a light load today with three carries.

End of 3: Blue 17, White 14
There was a lot of offense early, but a couple of turnovers have stalled the pace. Stephen Johnson’s night is likely done. He struggled for the most part, going 8 of 18 with an interception. Gunnar Hoak is
17-14 Blue, 5:56 3Q: The Blue team took back the lead, but the rosters are getting a little jumbled at this point with certain players trading sides.
HALFTIME: Blue 14, White 14
The second-teamers in white are playing well. Kei Beckham picked off Stephen Johnson toward the end of the first half and Gunnar Hoak subsequently found Clevan Thomas in the end zone to tie the game.
Hoak along with linebackers Jamin Davis and Boogie Watson have been impressive for the white team. Hoak is 12 of 18 for 92 yards and two touchdown passes. Davis leads all tacklers with 7 and Watson has been credited with three sacks.
Stephen Johnson is 7 of 16 for 88 yards and an interception.
14-7 Blue, 3:56 2Q: Gunnar Hoak just led the white team to its first score on beautiful fade route in the end zone to Kayaune Ross. Hoak is 10 of 14 for 85 yards and a touchdown pass.
End of 1: Stephen Johnson is 6 of 8 for 91 yards. Charles Walker leads with 49 receiving yards on two catches. He had a likely touchdown grab early in the game but it was called back. The first-team offense is getting what it wants, but that’s to be expected.
7-0 Blue, 4:27 1Q: It’s been all Stephen Johnson and Benny Snell so far, but there hasn’t been much in the way of defense. Johnson is 4 of 5 for 50 yards and Snell has 22 rushing yards on two carries. He’s also hauled in 23 passing yards on two receptions.
A.J. Rose is the starting running back for the white team.
