Former Kentucky wide receiver Kayaune Ross has signed with the Indianapolis Colts, the organization announced Friday. Ross was invited to the Colts’ rookie camp after going undrafted.
Ross, who was nicknamed “Godzilla” by former Kentucky receivers coach Lamar Thomas, will rely on his 6-foot-5 and 223-pound frame to make plays at the next level.
The West Chester, Ohio, native was Kentucky’s third leading receiver last season with 286 receiving yards on 19 catches. Ross, who came to Kentucky from Phoenix College, caught 1 touchdown in his two-year Wildcats career.
