Update: Kentucky junior safety Marcus Walker has been dismissed from the team, coach Mark Stoops announced Tuesday. No additional comment was given. Walker totaled 17 tackles in 21 games for his Kentucky career.
Kentucky safety Marcus Walker was arrested Thursday in Lexington on multiple drug charges, according to the Lexington Police Department.
The school is aware of the situation and is in the process of gathering more information, a Kentucky spokeswoman said.
The charges include buying/possessing drug paraphernalia, trafficking in marijuana and trafficking in a controlled substance.
Walker, from Lake Wales, Fla., recorded 5 tackles in 12 games for Kentucky last season. He primarily played on special teams.
