LEXINGTON, Ky. — Four Kentucky commits landed in the top-150 of 247Sports’ updated 2018 recruiting rankings, but none had a bigger jump than 4-star quarterback commit Jarren Williams.
The 4-star signal caller from Lawrenceville, Ga., rose 111 spots and is now ranked the No. 145 prospect in the class, according to 247Sports. He’s the 13th-ranked quarterback prospect and the highest-ranked quarterback commitment in the SEC.
Williams wasn’t the only notable riser in the rankings. Kentucky offensive tackle commit Darian Kinnard surged up 68 spots to the No. 100 prospect in the nation.
Offensive guard commit Marquan McCall and linebacker commit Xavier Peters were also included in 247Sports’ top-150 rankings, but both dropped a few spots. McCall moved down 11 rungs to No. 122 and Peters dropped 12 spots to No. 141.
