Kentucky was the first to offer running back Tyler Markray about a month ago, and now he’s committed to the Wildcats.
Coach Mark Stoops bolstered his 2018 class with the pledge from Markray, who will join the team as a preferred walk-on. The 5-foot-10, 211-pound Markray, out of St. Mary’s High in West Bloomfield, Mi., does not currently have a ranking from 247Sports.
Markray announced his decision via Twitter on Thursday evening.

Markray is the third commitment from the state of Michigan for 2018, joining 4-star offensive guard Marquan McCall and 3-star safety DeAndre Square.
Overall, this is Kentucky’s 19th commitment in the cycle. The Cats have a pledge from one other RB, 3-star Christopher Rodriguez.
