Kentucky kicked off the week with some good news on the recruiting front.
Clevan Thomas, a 3-star wide receiver from Charles W. Flanagan High School (Miami), committed to the Wildcats on Monday, according to 247Sports’ Ryan Bartow.
The 6-foot, 192-pound prospect reports 15 offers, and chose the Wildcats over Iowa State, Syracuse and Vanderbilt, among others. Thomas attended a Kentucky football camp on Sunday after receiving an offer back in January.
He becomes the 11th commitment of Kentucky’s 2017 class, joining fellow wide receivers JaVonte Richardson (4-star), Tyrell Ajian (4-star) and Joshua Ali (3-star).
He is rated as the nation’s No. 112 wide receiver and the state of Florida’s No. 106 overall prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
