Louisville (Ky.) 2019 3-star wide receiver Demontae Crumes has reportedly committed to the Kentucky Wildcats. This is a huge addition right as the dead period was set to begin Sunday at midnight.
On Sunday, CatsIllustrated’s Justin Rowland revealed that the former Louisville commitment had made the switch:
CONFIRMED: Just spoke with Crumes, a high three-star receiver ranked the No. 10 player in Kentucky, and he's a Kentucky commitment.
Had offers from Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State and Oregon. Huge get. Plus he's close with other top UK targets in the city. https://t.co/Y6iJtNtNj4

Crumes originally committed to Louisville in February, but reopened his recruitment after only two months. That’s when Kentucky started making a hard push.
That push paid off in a big way on Sunday.
The 6-foot-1, 165-pound receiver is the No. 636 overall player in the country, the No. 82 wide receiver and No. 10 prospect in Kentucky, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
This is a major win for coach Mark Stoops and the rest of the Wildcats coaching staff. Kentucky now has 11 commits in its 2019 class, which ranks 43rd nationally and 11th among SEC programs.
