Five-star small forward Jarred Vanderbilt is considered one of the nation’s top 20 players in the Class of 2017, and he released his top nine Friday, with Kentucky being his lone SEC target.
I would like to thank every school who has ever recruited me. After deep evaluations, these are my final 9 schools‼️ pic.twitter.com/gb5CwVD3z2

Vanderbilt, who attends Victory Prep in Bellaire, Texas, recently sustained a broken foot that has kept him from participating with USA Basketball and other events this summer. Vanderbilt is also considering Baylor, Arizona, North Carolina, Oregon, Kansas, TCU, Houston and Texas.
247Sports’ Crystal Ball prediction has him selecting Kentucky, with the Longhorns and Jayhawks also having a chance to land him.
