Update: Johnson returned to the game on the next drive.
Kentucky is holding a narrow one-point lead over the Tennessee Volunteers. But its task just got much tougher as Stephen Johnson had to exit the game.
After Johnson took a hard hit and landed on his knee, the Kentucky quarterback walked with two trainers to the locker room. He left the game after picking up a 34-yard gain.
Walking on his own to the locker room without any real limp. Maybe wasn't a leg/knee issue. https://t.co/MH4gKdOKtf

Johnson was able to walk under his own power. Drew Barker came in to replace Johnson. The Wildcats fumbled just two plays after Barker entered the game for the injured Johnson.
The Wildcats still lead 21-20. The game can be seen on the SEC Network.
