Kentucky received good news on Tuesday, as defensive back Cedrick Dort committed to play football for the Wildcats.
The 3-star prospect out of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. revealed his decision on Twitter:

Dort chose the Wildcats over Wisconsin, Purdue, Syracuse and Minnesota, among several other FBS programs. Kentucky is the only SEC school to offer Dort to date, according to 247Sports.
He became the 12th member of Kentucky’s 2017 football recruiting class, which ranks 12th in the SEC and No. 46 in the nation according to the 247Sports composite rankings. So far, he is listed as the only cornerback in the class.
