LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky has flipped its second Central Florida commitment in a week. Three-star offensive-guard prospect Sebastien Dolcine committed to the Wildcats on Monday morning, as first reported by 247Sports.
Dolcine of Hollywood, Fla., is the 17th commitment in Kentucky’s 2017 class. He’s the sixth Florida commitment for coach Mark Stoops and the staff after three Florida commitments in the previous two classes combined.
Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran was Dolcine’s lead recruiter. Gran, quarterbacks coach Darin Hinshaw and receivers coach Lamar Thomas are all in their first year in Lexington, and all have shifted their recruiting focus to Florida.
It’s the second prospect Kentucky has flipped from Central Florida in a week. Christopher Whittaker, a 3-star defensive-end prospect, was the other.
Dolcine is ranked the No. 78 guard in the country and the No. 231 Florida prospect. Kentucky’s class is ranked No. 31 in the country by 247Sports, 11th in the SEC.
