Kentucky bolstered its 2017 recruiting class on Sunday by getting a commitment from four-star wide receiver JaVonte Richardson.
Richardson, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound receiver from Maple Heights, Ohio, is the No. 29 receiver in the Class of 2017 and the No. 10 player in Ohio, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Richardson also had offers from Michigan, Syracuse, Toledo and Bowling Green, but was reportedly drawing interest from Florida and Ohio State, among other schools. He is the 10th player from the 2017 recruiting class to commit to Kentucky, although the other nine are all three-star recruits on 247 Sports.
Kentucky finished sixth in the SEC in 2015 in passing yards per game, but were tied for last in the conference with only 10 touchdown passes.
