Kentucky WR Thaddeus Snodgrass leaves program
Kentucky officials confirmed Tuesday that wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass has decided to leave the program.
Snodgrass, a redshirt freshman and former 4-star recruit, played sparingly during his two seasons with the team and had not caught a pass this season.
The receiver plans to transfer, according to the Courier-Journal’s John Hale. In Hale’s report, he states that Kentucky coach Mark Stoops offered an explanation for Snodgrass’ disappearance from the team’s depth chart before a game against Auburn on Oct. 15.
“There’s some other guys playing and he’s been having his struggles,” Stoops said. “but we’ll see where that goes.”
Kentucky (4-2, 2-2 SEC) will face Mississippi State (5-2, 1-2) this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
