Poythress averaged 10.2 points and 6.0 rebounds a game in his senior season at Kentucky. Poythress was once a top-recruit, but a knee injury kept him out most of his junior year.
The Wildcats did have three players drafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, with Jamal Murray going No. 7 to the Denver Nuggets, Skal Labissiere to the Sacramento Kings at No. 28 and Tyler Ulis at No. 34 to Phoenix Suns.
