Talk of John Calipari ditching Kentucky for an NBA job dominated basketball headlines on Sunday night and early Monday morning.
In response, the Wildcats coach took to Twitter.
“You may have heard me say this before: I absolutely have the best coaching job in sports and I plan on being at Kentucky for a long time,” Calipari tweeted, adding, “I am not negotiating with ANYBODY. My total focus is on this team and winning the next game.”
Sunday, Yahoo.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Brooklyn Nets are interested in hiring Calipari. In the wee hours of Monday morning, “Woj” dropped another scoop: Calipari’s asking price is $120 million.
