Chalk this one up to stupidity.
A week after the Florida played its home opener a week late due to the devastation causes throughout the state by Hurricane Irma, the Gators travel to Lexington, Ky. this Saturday to take on the Wildcats.
And one Kentucky fan or group of fans decided that it would be a good idea to combine their thought that the Wildcats will beat Florida with the natural disaster that happened two weeks ago.

To say that’s tone deaf would be an understatement. The Tweet comes from former Florida Gators and NFL safety Ahmad Black. The photo appears to be a screenshot of a snapchat that appeared on the “Do it for State” story.
Maybe let’s leave the hurricane references in our pockets the rest of the season.
