The 14 points and 14 assists recorded by Kentucky point guard Tyler Ulis in a 94-77 win over LSU on Saturday didn’t impress Tigers forward Ben Simmons, who said after the game that Ulis receives preferential treatment from officials.
Simmons, a freshman from Australia, said that Ole Miss point guard Stefan Moody is a better point guard than Ulis and that the Kentucky star receives calls that other players don’t.

Both Simmons and Ulis were named semifinalists for the Naismith Trophy, recognizing the nation’s top college basketball player, on Wednesday.
Simmons outscored Ulis on Saturday, finishing with 17 points, 11 rebounds and seven steals, but the Wildcats cruised to a big victory, dropping LSU to 11-7 in SEC play. Ulis shot just four free throws in the game, making three.
