Kentucky fullback Will Thomas Collins will face “internal punishment” and other ramifications for his Friday arrest, coach Mark Stoops told Kyle Tucker of The Courier-Journal.
Collins was arrested on charges of alcohol intoxication, criminal mischief second degree, theft and fleeing and evading, according to The Courier-Journal’s Jon Hale. He reportedly ran away from a police officer who spotted him carrying a parking meter, according to WKYT.
The walk-on fullback transferred from University of Pikeville and earned a spot on the team in 2013. In three seasons with the Wildcats, he hasn’t seen any game action, and is set to be a senior in the fall.
In February, senior linebacker Jason Hatcher was arrested on drug charges that included marijuana trafficking and was subsequently dismissed from the team, according to Hale.
