Lyles, who played for the Wildcats in 2014-15, is headed from the Utah Jazz to the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are also getting the No. 24 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. In return, the Jazz got the No. 13 overall pick, which they used to Louisville guard Donovan Mitchell.
Lyles, the No. 12 overall pick in the 2015 draft, is averaging 6.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game through two NBA seasons. In joining the Nuggets, Lyles will be teammates with ex-Kentucky guard Jamal Murray.
