Kentucky reportedly is moving to lock up a key assistant.
As reported by Cats Illustrated’s Justin Rowland on Monday, tight ends coach Vince Marrow, who also serves as the Wildcats’ recruiting coordinator, is nearing an extension with the program that would run through the 2020 season. Rowland reports that the contract hasn’t been finalized, but Marrow just has to “put pen to paper and make it official.”
Marrow joined Kentucky in December 2012, after serving as a graduate assistant at Nebraska from 2011-12. He also had coaching stints within NFL Europe and the United Football League.
Kentucky’s 2017 recruiting class was ranked No. 29 overall and No. 11 in the SEC, as rated by 247Sports.
